A Legacy of Learning
Founded in 1964 by a group of passionate Muslim educators and community leaders, Perdaus began as a humble initiative to provide Islamic education to the children of Singapore's Muslim community. What started as weekend classes in a small rented space has grown into one of the island's most established voluntary welfare organisations.
Over more than six decades, we have evolved to meet the changing needs of our community — expanding from basic religious instruction to a comprehensive suite of programmes spanning early childhood, weekend madrasah, youth leadership, and adult Islamic education. Our philosophy centres on human capital development: we believe that by investing in people at every stage of life, we create ripples of positive change that extend far beyond our classrooms.
Today, Perdaus operates multiple centres across Singapore, serves thousands of students each year, and remains steadfast in our founding mission — to nurture a righteous society grounded in knowledge, compassion, and service.
