Objectives of module:

• To provide individual attention to participants according to their needs in Qur’an reading
• Participants will be able to khatam their Qur’an reading with confidence

Programme level: Beginner & Intermediate

Duration: Ongoing, 2 hours per session

Programme fee: $80 for 10 sittings

Duration: 2 hours per session

An introduction of Solah basics to those who has not learn or has little knowledge on this topic. By the end of this module, participants will able to:

• do ablution in the right way
• perform Solah 5 times a day
• understand the Arabic meanings of the phrases used in Solah
• differentiate between the obligatory (wajib) and voluntary (sunnah) Solah
• be aware of the rewards of performing Solah and consequences of neglecting it

Upon completion, participants will be promoted to Menghalusi Solat Module

Duration: 10 weeks, 2 hours per session

This is an intermediate module about Solah procedures for those who already have basic knowledge on Solah. By the end of this module, participants will able to:

• understand the concept and purpose of Wudhu’
• differentiate between Wudhu’ and Tayammum
• refine the recitation of Solah phrases and tartib Solah
• improve on the understanding of regulations in Solah
• deepen their own faith and relationship with Allah swt

Program level: Intermediate

Duration: 10 weeks, 2 hours per session

Programme fee: Flat fee of $85

A *new* module that focuses on the understanding of the Arabic language for 'ibadah. Upon the completion of the module, participants are expected to:

• understand rudimentary Arabic vocabulary and grammar
• understand the meanings of selected Surahs and du'as
• understand the meanings of recitations during solat

Programme level: Intermediate - must already know how to recite the Qur'an

Duration: 10 weeks

Programme fee: Flat fee of $80

Registration fee: One-time payment of $15 (waived for Adult Classes alumni)

Another Fardhu Kifayah module offered in KAD, this is aimed to provide participants with the basic knowledge of the adab and etiquette of leading a prayer, especially in a family setting.

This module is not meant to be used as a certification or accreditation course for a mosque imam or bilal, or a community leader.

Programme level: Beginner (both Muslimin and Muslimat)

Duration: 5 sessions of theory and practical lessons

Programme fee: $100

Registration fee: One-time payment of $15 (waived for Adult Classes alumni)

A Fardhu Kifayah module offered in KAD, this module is aimed to provide participants with the basic knowledge of the management of jenazah in Islam.

Bonus: an Introduction to Faraidh (Inheritance Law) is also included as part of the module.

This module is not meant to be used as a certification or accreditation course for participants to provide jenazah management services.

Duration: 5 sessions of theory and practical lessons

Programme fee: $100

• a field trip to Pusara Aman on the second day
• a short introduction to Faraidh (Inheritance Law)
