Job Description:

  • Provide administrative support in the planning, development and delivery of the Development and Learning Support processes
  • To work closely with stakeholders in arranging regular meetings and case conferences as required
  • To conduct screening, identification and case presentation as required and to liaise with the coordinators as necessary to improve tracking and target setting
  • To offer high quality and appropriate development support intervention to all children receiving DSP as well as flagged children with indicators of developmental needs
  • To effectively manage Individual Education Plans (IEPs) and Individual Behavioral Plans (IBPs) where necessary
  • To document case notes accurately and participates in case discussion with multidisciplinary team
  • Facilitate internal and external briefing and training where necessary to identify children with needs using the relevant assessment tools
  • Ensure that Development Support Programme (DSP) interventionS are delivered with standards
  • Establish network in expansion of Iyad Perdaus as a provider of LSDS to the community
  • Contribute to the overall ethos of Perdaus
  • Perform any other duties as required


  • Diploma in Early Childhood Care and Education
  • Good in planning and preparing materials and activities
  • Good interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent documentation skills
  • Excellent in interpersonal skills
  • Excellent time management
  • Proficient in English language
  • Proficiency in Malay and/or Mandarin is an advantage
  • Adept at multi-tasking
  • Strong verbal and written communicationAdvance Diploma in Early Childhood Intervention (Special Needs)
  • Well-versed in Microsoft Office software suite


  • At least 3 years of relevant experience in pre-school teaching
  • Some experience handling special needs will be an advantage
  • Some knowledge of instructional design will be an advantage
  • Familiar with the expectations of a Volunteer Welfare Organisation
